Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan has rejected a near $39bn. takeover bid from mining giant BHP Billiton Plc, the world’s largest potash producer said.
The Canada-based group said it had received an offer from BHP for $130 a share, which PotashCorp’s board of directors deemed “grossly inadequate”.
