Prices for high purity cerium oxide (CeO2 99%) sourced from the Baotou region in northern China have crept upwards in recent weeks as supply of the material becomes constrained in anticipation of further reductions in export quotas for the second half, industry sources told IM.Latest prices for cerium oxide (99%, bulk purchases, FOB China) have been quoted in the region of $7-7.2/kg, up from $6.6-7/kg last month.
